FULL SERMON – How to Share Your Faith – 33:41 MIN

DISCUSSION:

  • Have you heard someone’s testimony before? How did it impact you?

SCRIPTURE

But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, 35 I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. 37 The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:34-37

Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” Mark 5:19

Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. Psalm 66:16 NIV

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:15-16

UNcomplicate it:

Observation Question:

  • What do you observe about the passages? Take turns sharing from observations from the text or your personal notes from service.

Understanding Question:

  • Draw out your life graph! Draw the line in the middle with the roller coaster of major highs and lows of your life and share a few with the group.

Application Question:

  • Share your testimony. Pick a low moment, and share how God made your mess into a message. Take your test, and make it a testimony. Keep it short and uncomplicated, and end it with “If God can do it for me, He can do it for you!”
