SCRIPTURE
Luke 4:18-21 NIV
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
5 Afterward, David was conscience-stricken for having cut off a corner of his robe. 6 He said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lay my hand on him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.”

Understanding Question:
The church is the bride of Christ. What does this mean? What does this say about us?
Application Question:
We lose the fear of God when we get loose with our boundaries. We heard of the example of the captain being reckless with boundaries by being too close to the reef. Are there any boundaries in your life you need to set farther?
