Fire Relief Efforts – January 2025 LA Fires

The devastation caused by the January 2025 LA Fires has deeply impacted Los Angeles County and beyond, and our hearts are with all those affected. We are committed to bringing hope and help however we can to those affected by this crisis. This page will be regularly updated with the latest information on how you can engage in relief efforts and make a difference.

How You Can Help

PRAY

• Pray for those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.
• Pray for the safety and strength of first responders and relief workers.
• Pray for comfort, provision, and hope for all those affected.

GIVE

If you’d like to give specifically to help provide relief for those impacted by the fires, we have set up a special fund to help. Your donations will help us directly support people in need, partner with local organizations, and provide long-term recovery support. Additionally, if you consider yourself a part of Freedom Church and give regularly, know that your faithful giving has already positioned us to start helping financially.

VOLUNTEER

We are currently assessing what specific opportunities to volunteer will be most helpful in the days to come. 

Here are some ways you can engage:

• The Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donations, as many donation sites were closed due to the fires, and there is a need for blood due to burn injuries. Find a blood donation site here.
